Do you perform any physical examinations?

I am a non-medical provider. I will not be providing these exams. However, if you would like physical and emotional support during your visit. I can definitely support you.

Why consider a doula?

There are many studies that document the benefits of having a doula present during labor and postpartum. I can provide you with resources stating the significant decrease in the use/risk of inductions, Cesarean, etc.

What about my partner?

As your doula, I am there to strengthen their role and confidence by providing education and tools before and during labor. The partner can also take breaks to rest and refuel while knowing I am there to assist. Having an extra pair of hands makes a difference providing comfort and pain levels. As a doula, I provide affirmation, clarity, and reassurance for you both.

How can I make the cost more affordable?

Payment plans can be discussed in greater detail via a consultation. People have started to save for a doula once they are trying to conceive and/or include doula services on their baby shower registries.
